Frequently Asked Questions

How much time should I allow for a band recording session?
The time required varies depending on the number of songs, lineup, genre, difficulty, sound design and the amount of retaking. As a general guide, recording all parts for one song often takes around 10 hours, while four to five songs may take about two to three days.
Can drums, bass and rhythm guitar be recorded together?
Yes. Depending on the song and the band’s preferred workflow, we can record drums with bass or rhythm guitar together, or build the track in stages such as drums, bass, guitars and vocals.
Can you also handle pitch correction, mixing and mastering after recording?
Yes. Vocal pitch correction and editing, mixing and mastering can all be handled as part of the same project.
Can I book a band recording session for just one song?
Yes. We accept one-song band recording projects for singles, music videos, streaming releases and other uses.
Can I book only drum recording or only vocal recording?
Yes. If you only need drums or vocals rather than a full-band project, please see our dedicated Drum Recording and Vocal Recording pages.
Can I record drums and vocals at the studio, record the other parts at home, and then have you mix and master the song?
Yes. Many clients record drums and vocals at the studio while producing guitars, bass, keyboards and programmed parts at home. Once the remaining tracks are ready, send us the files and we can handle the mixing and mastering as well.
What should we prepare before the recording session?
Guide tracks, demos, lyrics, song structure notes and reference tracks can help the session run smoothly. Please prepare them if possible. The exact materials needed vary by project and recording method, so feel free to discuss this with us in advance.
